Fun Family Activities to do in Toronto this August- Toronto PATH

With all of the great happenings in Toronto this summer, you won’t have to go far to enjoy some family fun! Take advantage of what’s left of the summer days and embark on activities that the whole family can enjoy. Oxford Properties and your Toronto PATH retailers have you covered with a list of fun family activities to do in the city this August.

The Toronto Zoo
Enjoy a fun and educational day with the kids exploring the furry friends at the Toronto Zoo! If you need transportation to and from the zoo, save yourself the hassle of public transit and rent a car from National Car Rental located in MetroCentre.

A day at the zoo will mean an entire day outdoors and a ton of walking. Make sure the whole family is dressed cool and comfortably. Stop by Reitmans, located in MetroCentre and choose from some of their breathable athletic wear. For the kids, stop by BB Buggy, located in Royal Bank Plaza and choose from their selection of children’s clothes. While you’re there, browse through their strollers – a day at the zoo may be too much walking for the little ones!

Don’t forget to protect your skin from those UV rays! Stop by Rexall, located in MetroCentre or Richmond-Adelaide Centre or Shoppers Drug Mart in Royal Bank Plaza and choose from their wide selection of sunscreens. If you’re looking for a natural alternative, stop by Consonant Skincare, located in Richmond-Adelaide Centre.

Picnic in the Park
Pack your wicker basket with some delicious foods found right in the Toronto PATH. Stop by the Assembly Chef’s Hall located in Richmond-Adelaide Centre and pick up some delicious foods from Toronto’s top chefs. While there, stop by Nadège Patisserie, also located in Richmond-Adelaide Centre and grab some decadent macarons for dessert.

Cleanup will be a breeze with the recyclable cutlery, plates, and disposable napkins found in Rexall located in Richmond-Adelaide Centre.

ROM’s Dinosaur Gallery
Meet the “Ultimate Dinos” at the Royal Ontario Museum! Take the day to explore the vast galleries and exhibits and don’t let something like uncomfortable shoes hinder your experience. Mateo Fine Shoes located in Royal Bank Plaza carries a selection of stylish and comfortable footwear- perfect for a full day’s wear.

On your way there, stop by Gateway Newstand located in MetroCentre and pick up some protein bars and juice for the kids to snack on during your big day out.

It’s important to make time for family fun and with all the exciting offerings in Toronto this August and the help of your Toronto PATH retailers, it won’t be hard to plan some exciting outings for the whole family to enjoy!
